We are responsible for developing, deploying, maintaining, and monitoring computing systems that support scientific and medical research services. RIS offers intern opportunities in hardware, software, and systems engineering. RIS interns have the opportunity to be an integral part of an innovative and passionate team. You will be passionate about current state-of-the-art hardware and software technologies and tools, have a curiosity and an excitement about working with and learning new technologies. You will be excited by a team environment, and be willing to take on new and unexpected challenges.
Bonus points (but not required) if you have non-academic coding experience (i.e code challenges, personal projects, GitHub, Open Source, etc.) Experience with Linux operating systems, scripting skills, knowledge of configuration management systems (i.e. Puppet, Ansible), experience with major cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.)
