Application Developer I

RIS is searching for an Application Developer I to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the development and testing of code for new improvements and existing applications. You will participate in building and supporting enterprise-grade software used to support our storage and high-performance compute infrastructure and be part of a growing development team. Application Developer II

RIS is searching for an experienced Applications Developer II to join our team. This team member will provide support for information technology solutions by creating new, modifying, and supporting existing software applications, working on complex projects requiring specialized technical knowledge, and possessing innovative thinking. Having a comprehensive knowledge of application systems development and the systems they support, along with knowledge of information technology functions to apply a broad and interactive perspective to application development, is required. You will also have specialized knowledge of appropriate programming languages, and development tools, and the ability to complete difficult development and programming tasks. RIS Interns

RIS offers intern opportunities in hardware, software, and systems engineering.  RIS interns have the opportunity to be an integral part of an innovative and passionate team. If you’re excited by a team environment, if you are curious, like to learn new technologies, and you adapt well to change, a RIS internship may be right for you.

Successful intern candidates will have a passion for the customer, and the details that make their experience with our services exceptional.  You will be passionate about current state-of-the-art hardware and software technologies and tools, have a curiosity and an excitement about working with and learning new technologies. You will be excited by a team environment, and be willing to take on new and unexpected challenges.

Bonus points (but not required) if you have non-academic coding experience (i.e code challenges, personal projects, GitHub, Open Source, etc.)  Experience with Linux operating systems, scripting skills, knowledge of configuration management systems (i.e. Puppet, Ansible), experience with major cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.)
