The WashU ELN, is an electronic laboratory notebook powered by LabArchives. It is a cloud-based research data collaboration and management tool. It makes organizing, storing and sharing lab data fast, simple and accessible on all digital platforms. WashU provides the Professional and Classroom Edition at no costs to students, faculty, and staff.

LabArchives complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Login

To access WashU ELN, navigate to the LabArchives login page and select Washington University in St. Louis from the drop-down menu. Use WashU Key creditials for simple set up.

Terms

  • Accounts are provisioned with WashU Key access and require two-factor authentication with WashU 2FA for off-campus access. 
  • RIS will discontinue user access to the WashU ELN Service upon the termination of a user’s affiliation with the university, and their LabArchives account will be deactivated. Users will need approval to export their data for transfer before leaving the university. 
  • WashU ELN users agree to abide by the Washington University Computer Use Policy, Information Security Policy, System Access Control Policy, and the Washington University Code of Conduct.
