FAQ

What is Onboarding?

Onboarding is how RIS introduces new users to our platforms, ensuring they can confidently navigate and leverage our research resources.

Why onboard?

Through this process, we provide the essential training and insights researchers need to hit the ground running, ensuring no one gets left behind.

What is the need for the Cost Center and Department number?

To ensure a smooth onboarding experience, we require your Department and Cost Center details at the start of the process. Collecting this information upfront allows us to route your request to the correct teams for immediate approval, eliminating time-consuming back-and-forth emails and significantly reducing your overall turnaround time.

Where can I find the Cost Center and Department number?

Contact your faculty member, Department Coordinator, or Head of Department (HoD), who can provide you with the correct Cost Center ID and Department number to use.
