On February 16, we will implement a Secure Shell (SSH) policy change only on compute1-client* and c2-login-* nodes.
❗️Impact: Scientific Compute ▸ C1 & C2 ▸ SSH
Under the new policy, all RIS compute login nodes will be configured to automatically close any user session that has been inactive for 7 consecutive days. If your session is affected, you can restart it.
❓Why:
The purpose of this policy is to enhance security and to comply with the Genomic Data Sharing Policy and security requirements.
